1. Introduction

This document outlines the terms and conditions for your enrolment in Arabic Quest. By accepting a place in the program, you confirm your understanding and agreement to these terms. Arabic Quest is operated by Dar Al-Alim by Islamia Education, registered at Room 7B, One Capital Place, 18 Luard Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. These terms refer to students as ‘you’ and the company as ‘we’ or ‘Arabic Quest.’

2. Duration of Agreement

This agreement remains in effect for the entire duration of the chosen Arabic Quest course, which is a minimum of twelve (12) calendar months. Your enrolment in the course is binding for this period, and you agree to complete the course and pay all associated fees.

3. Provision of Educational Services

Arabic Quest by Dar Al-Alim by Islamia Education is committed to providing a high-quality learning experience through our online platform. We offer structured, live one-to-one classes with qualified instructors. These live sessions are scheduled in advance and conducted in real-time, ensuring a personalised and interactive learning experience.

4. Fees and Payment Plans

Arabic Quest operates on an annual payment plan. The full course fee is due upon enrolment, and no weekly or monthly payment options are available unless an agreed payment plan is in place. The course fee covers a 12-month access period to all course materials and live one-to-one classes.

Payment Terms:

• The full annual fee must be paid at the time of enrolment unless a payment plan is agreed upon.
• If a payment plan is in place, students are legally obligated to complete all payments, even if they choose to cancel or withdraw from the course before the full amount is paid.
• Once payment is made, you will receive access to the scheduled live one-to-one classes.
• Failure to pay the full fee or adhere to the payment plan will result in suspension of your access to the course until payment is made.

We do not offer refunds after seven (7) days from the date of enrolment. Please ensure that you are committed to completing the course before enrolling.

5. Enrolment and Withdrawal Policy

To enrol, you must complete the Online Enrolment Form and agree to these terms and conditions. Once your enrolment is confirmed, your access to the course begins immediately.

Withdrawal Policy:

• If you choose to withdraw from the course within the first seven (7) days of enrolment, you are eligible for a full refund minus the cost of any course materials provided.
• After seven (7) days, no refunds will be issued, and you remain liable for the full course fee.
• Withdrawal requests must be submitted via email to support@daralalim.com. Verbal or informal withdrawal notifications will not be accepted.

6. Attendance and Missed Lessons

Students are expected to attend their scheduled live one-to-one classes. These sessions are essential for progressing through the course.

Missed Sessions:

• If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, you must notify us at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance to reschedule without penalty.
• Students are allowed up to ten (10) rescheduled sessions per year. Beyond this, additional rescheduling requests may be denied.
• Unexcused absences will not be eligible for rescheduling.

Absence and Makeup Class Policy:

• Excused absences include illness, technical issues, or unavoidable emergencies.
• Students must notify the administration of an excused absence at least two (2) hours before class time to avoid it being marked as unexcused.
• Makeup classes must be scheduled within four (4) weeks of the missed session.
• There are no refunds for missed classes, whether excused or unexcused.

7. Holidays

The Arabic Quest course operates year-round, with the following exceptions:

• Eid Ul-Fitr: Five (5) days off
• Eid Ul-Adha: Five (5) days off
• Ramadan: Limited availability of instructors during the last ten (10) days of Ramadan

For other holidays, classes will continue as scheduled unless otherwise notified.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Arabic Quest by Dar Al-Alim by Islamia Education values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We will only use your data for purposes related to your education, including:

• Providing course materials and live classes
• Managing your enrolment and account
• Contacting you with course-related information

We will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent.

9. Recorded Lessons

All live classes are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. These recordings may be made available to you for review and can be deleted without prior notice. By enrolling in Arabic Quest, you agree to have your sessions recorded.

10. Usernames and Passwords

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Arabic Quest account. Your username and password must not be shared with anyone else. Any misuse of your account may result in suspension or termination of your access.

11. Internet Security

Arabic Quest takes reasonable measures to ensure that our online platform is secure. However, you are responsible for maintaining a secure study environment, including ensuring that your internet connection and device are safe from viruses and malware.

12. Complaints Policy

We strive to provide a positive learning experience for all students. If you encounter any issues with the course, instructors, or platform, please contact our support team at support@daralalim.com. We aim to address all complaints within 3-5 business days.

13. Teacher Assignment and Substitution Policy

• Arabic Quest will make every effort to ensure continuity with your assigned teacher.
• In cases where a teacher is unavailable, a substitute teacher may be assigned to ensure that your learning experience is not disrupted.
• Students will be notified in advance of any permanent teacher changes.

14. Liability Disclaimer

Arabic Quest is not responsible for any technical issues or disruptions beyond our control, including but not limited to internet outages, device malfunctions, or platform downtimes caused by third-party services. By enrolling in Arabic Quest, you agree that you will not hold us liable for any damages resulting from such disruptions.

15. Intellectual Property Rights

All course materials provided by Arabic Quest, including live class recordings, lesson plans, and supplementary resources, are the exclusive property of Dar Al-Alim by Islamia Education. These materials are for personal use only and must not be copied, distributed, or reproduced in any form without prior written consent. Unauthorised sharing or reproduction of course content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

16. Extended Absence Policy

• If a student plans to be absent for more than one week, they must notify the administration in advance.
• Extended absences of more than one month may result in the loss of the reserved time slot.

17. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain a respectful and positive learning environment during live classes. The following behaviours are expected:

• Be punctual and prepared for each session.
• Communicate respectfully with instructors and other students.
• Refrain from any disruptive behaviour that may hinder the learning experience.

Failure to adhere to the code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of enrolment, depending on the severity of the misconduct.

18. Digital Learning Materials Policy

• Digital learning materials are provided as part of the course and must not be shared or distributed outside of the course.
• Access to digital content may be limited to the duration of the course.
• Previous course content may be restricted once the course is completed.

19. Amendments Clause

Arabic Quest reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after amendments signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
